Code of Conduct

Updated: 29 November 2025

Welcome, sister. This community was created to be a safe, supportive space for women veterans healing from military sexual trauma (MST), PTSD, and service-related trauma.

To protect the emotional safety and dignity of every member, all participants must follow the Code of Conduct below.

By joining this community, you agree to these expectations:

1. This Is a Safe, Judgment-Free Space

Members must treat each other with compassion, respect, and empathy. Judgment, shaming, dismissiveness, or criticism of others’ experiences is not allowed.

2. Confidentiality Is Essential

What is shared in this group stays in this group. Do not copy, share, or screenshot posts or comments. Every woman deserves privacy and trust.

3. No Graphic Trauma Details

To protect survivors from triggers:

  • You may share your story

  • But avoid graphic, explicit, or violent details

Share feelings and experiences in a grounding, non-triggering way.

4. No Hate Speech, Harassment, or Bullying

Zero tolerance for:

  • Racism

  • Sexism

  • Homophobia

  • Transphobia

  • Ableism

  • Personal attacks

  • Harassment or intimidation

Every member is worthy of safety and respect.

5. No Political Debates or Content

Because this community focuses on healing, not politics, political discussions, debates, or advocacy posts are not allowed.

6. Crisis and Emergencies

Admins are not therapists or crisis responders. If you are in immediate danger or feel unsafe:

Call the Veterans Crisis Line at 988, then press 1, or contact local emergency services.

You may ask for emotional support, but the group cannot replace professional help.

7. Respect Boundaries & Diverse Healing Journeys

Every woman heals differently.

No one should pressure others to:

  • Share their story

  • “Forgive” quickly

  • Follow any particular healing method

Honor each person’s pace.

8. Keep Advice Supportive, Not Clinical

You may share what has helped you, but:

  • Do not diagnose others

  • Do not prescribe treatment

  • Do not offer clinical or legal advice

We are a peer-support community only.

9. Admin Decisions Are Final

Admins may delete posts or remove members who violate these rules. These actions protect the safety and trust of the community.

10. By Participating, You Agree to This Code

Your participation means you accept and will uphold the Code of Conduct. Breaking these guidelines may result in post removal or removal from the group to protect others.
